Index and search an entire enterprise using the Google technology, the best and most widely used search technology. At SAFIRA we do it with the Google Search Appliance, aka GSA, which is nothing more than Google in a yellow box.
Create awesome mashups and plug-ins to index reference corporate data and internet Web Services. Return everything there is to know about a customer, in a coherent results page, just by searching his customer ID. It’s easily accomplished by developing Google plug-ins that index our ERP, CRM, documents, project wikis and everything that has an URL or runs on a database. And that’s just the beginning. Search employee information (except salary receipts), corporate news, pools, surveys, group calendar and every other bit of data.

SAFIRABOOK
Like FACEBOOK, Linked.in or any other social network? Then create one, specifically designed for a corporate environment, that hundreds of people will use.
Using Drupal, integrated with our LDAP corporate directory, and by hacking existing Drupal modules or completely creating new ones, develop a corporate social network. Create features for employees to post their resumes and experience, display received awards and honors, connect with fellow co-workers, get recommendations for assignments, list current projects and customers.
Create mashups with web applications for employees to post their videos from YouTube, photos from Flickr, presentations from slideshare.net, maps from Google or Yahoo, and events from Upcoming. Create mashups with business applications for employees to show their project’s status from the EPM, sales bookings and funnel from the CRM and new content from their wikis. Create an application that strengthens the bonds between colleagues and bosses, shortens geographical distances and makes friends in the workplace.

iSAFIRA
Just like a corporate iGoogle, Pageflakes or Netvibes. Create a rich widget environment using Microsoft Sharepoint Services, XML and AJAX where every user can have a highly and easily customizable start page they can call home. Develop from ground, or customize an array of widgets that significantly improve your user’s productivity, ability to share, communicate personal information. Create templates of preconfigured widget pages for several jobs and roles that will become the starting point of every personal homepage at SAFIRA. Integrate data from all of SAFIRA’s mission critical applications and services such as our Enterprise Project Management system, CRM, ERP, and other social tools such as internal blogs, wikis, RSS feeds, instant messaging and public internet site.
Create the de facto entry point to a corporate web 2.0 that everyone loves to use.

SAFIRAPEDIA
More than a technology project, this is a social engineering project to sprout massive collaboration, and harness the wisdom of a crowd of more than 130 people, to create a corporate reference of everything that can be documented in a professional services company such as ours.
Create and implement a strategy that motivates every employee of every department to give up a small bit of free time to become involved in a collective effort to document an entire company. This means documenting, in one central reference, every process, every procedure, every regulation, our mission, our history, our goals, and every other piece of factual information that may already exists in files, or worse, exists only in people’s heads.

Corporate Social News
Develop a Digg or Reddit clone, using Drigg or Pligg, for social news created by corporate employees. Implement features like comments, ratings, tags and tag clouds, RSS feeds, karma rankings, and all other cool features found in leading social news sites. This application is destined to be the company’s primary source of relevant internal and external news. It’s corporate news from employees to employees.

Using tools and technologies like Drupal, RSS, Web Services, Wikis, Blogs and Widgets, create a true Enterprise 2.0 knowledge and collaboration platform.
Create a set of standard web 2.0 applications, integrated in a single platform, with the best-of-breed features found in the most representative applications of their class. Build blogs like Wordpress, wikis as a mix of Confluence or SocialText with Mediawiki, widgets like Netvibes, manage identity with our LDAP directory or OpenID, and syndicate it all through RSS
